I am the General Manager of a large Downtown hotel in Regina that has both a weekly comedy show in my Pub but also I host large Xmas comedy parties & New Years Eve Comedy Gala’s too. I have had the pleasure of having the extremely talented Matthew Murray perform a plethora of times over my 13 years as a General Manager if this hotel. I would say it’s almost 50/50 split with guests requesting him or myself and my team. Matthew always personally sends out social media blasts to help drive our numbers too. Most importantly I know of many times he has been asked to perform for an outside corporate group and he guided them to book at our hotel and he would perform. This act of referring clients to us is simply amazing of him , this helps generate more shows in which we sell Christmas Dinners as well. I swear with all the thousands of Standup Comedians I have worked with booking the shows, Mathew is honestly one of my all-time favourites.
